You know who my role model is? not a person. It’s the nature, particularly the clouds. I couldn’t think of anybody more free than them, anybody who tours around more than them, anybody who can take any shapes more than them. No gps, no maps, no particular destination, nothing, just go where the wind takes. They are the true wanderers, yet serving a wonderful purpose, the rain.
Clouds on the skies and the seas on the earth altogether, what else would be a more appealing scenery. That’s the real purpose I visit seashores more often. These are some scenic shots I have managed to shoot in my wanderings.
I told you these clouds can take any shape, go anywhere right? here is one more thing. They can take any colors too. I wonder if they ever care to look at their reflection on the waters and realize how beautiful they really are. May be nature created us to do that. After all, we are just assembly of fragments from nature. We are nature.

This is the first long exposure shot I ever tried. It was a bright day and I didn’t have the ND fader when I took this picture. I used a shutter speed of 8 seconds and extremely narrow aperture. The resultant picture appeared almost washed out in the camera. After exposure correction in the image editing software, it turned out pleasant.

That’s a shore that more often sees storm. Those are the pillars that guard the roads from the water’s rage. It was fine evening when I clicked this picture. The clouds posed for me just fine.

This too is a long exposure shot from the same spot, after a while. I got to say you, those sands are addictive. You won’t leave them for hours. I myself spent 3 full hours over there collecting shells, clicking crabs, and watching the kids playing around in the sandy shores.

This is one of the interesting pictures I have clicked on the shores. Those 2 guys must be some close buddies. It must be a worthy time to spend fishing while seated on those rocks.

This too is the same shore. Just after a short burst of rain. May be the clouds were happy to see me and shed some tears of joy. The cotton candy man amidst the scenic shore was like a signature of Chennai. Came out quite artistic and natural.
